早速本日の商品を紹介したいと思います。
これです！セブンイレブンのCHIFON（紅茶香るシフォン）です！
新発売商品ですね。たまに甘いものが食べたくなるのですが、このシフォンはおじさんにもちょうど良いサイズだったのと見た目も美味しそうなので買ってみました。
（スイーツ系は量が多すぎると購買意欲が逆にさがりますね）
一口目を食べてみると、紅茶の香りもあって上に載っている生クリームと完璧なマッチを見せてくれました。
ただし、ここからは個人的な味の趣向なのですが、基本的に水分量が少ないパサパサしたものがあまり好きではないので、後半生クリームがなくなるときついかな、と思っていました。しかし！
写真だと分かりにくいのですが、中のスポンジにさらに紅茶クリーム？が入っており最後までしっとり感を維持したまま食べ終えることができました。
（子供に一口上げたら半分持っていかれました）
全体感としては甘いものを少し食べたい大人の方にはお薦めできる商品ですね。
私はとても好きな味でした。
スイーツ系もどんどん紹介していきたいと思います。

Convenience Store Diary no.4: Chiffon (7-11)

Let’s get straight to today’s product, “Chiffon”, from 7-11.
This is one of 7-11’s new products. I occasionally fancy something sweet, so when I saw this chiffon cake I thought it looked really good. It was also just the right size for a guy like me (I don’t like sweets that are too big) so I decided to give it a try.
After the first bite I realized what a good match the tea flavor and fresh cream were.
However, it’s really my own personal taste, but I don’t like dry and crumbly food very much so I was worried that the cream would be all gone before I could eat the last half of the cake. But…
I’m not sure of you can tell from this photo, but I think there’s some tea-cream in the middle of the cake that kept it nice and moist right to the end (it was hard to tell for sure because I let my kid have ‘one bite’ and he ate about half the cake)!
I can definitely recommend this as a sweet for people who are looking for an occasional ‘adult’ sweet fix. I really liked it!
I’ll be introducing lots more sweet things from now on.
