早速本日の商品を紹介していきたいと思います。

これです！セブンイレブンのシュー・ア・ラ・クレーム（税抜き130円）です！

こちらもNO.15で紹介したのと同様で某テレビ番組の特集で扱われていた商品です。
評論家の方々に大絶賛されていたので私も購入してみました。

シュークリームの味を伝えるのは難しいですが、一言でいうと上品なテイストです。
もともとシュークリームは生クリームが入っていないと好きではなかったのですがこのクリームは非常に研究された高級洋菓子テイストのクリームです。

上手に伝えられないのですが、洋菓子のスペシャリストの方々にこの値段でこの味とは
コンビニスイーツ恐るべしと言わせたのも納得の一品でした。

少し品薄が続いているようですが、見かけたら是非試してみてください。

Convenience Store Diary no.16: Choux a la Creme (7-11)

Good evening all, this is J.

Let’s get straight to today’s product, “Choux a la Creme”, from 7-11. ¥130 without tax.

Just like blog item no.15, this product was also featured on a certain television show. The presenters raved about this one, so I thought I’d give it a go.

It’s difficult to describe exactly how a choux bun should taste, but if I had to choose one word, it would be, ‘fancy’. I used to think that a choux bun without proper fresh cream would never be any good, but the cream here tastes like it came from a real high-level Western-style sweet maker.

I can’t really explain it properly, but I reckon even a specialist in Western-style sweets would agree that for the price, something that tastes this good is kind of awesome.

These choux buns tend to run out fast so if you see one, I highly recommend you try it!
